I come from a long line of artists. My great grandmother, did beautiful embroidery on satin shirts for my great grandfather, who owned a carousel and traveled around with it during the summer. My grandfather was one of the Prairie Printmakers and made numerous trips to New Mexico for inspiration for his lithographs. My mother was a painter, a weaver and a basket maker. Growing up, I had the opportunity to experiment with many different mediums. I have made miniatures, dabbled with watercolor, made jewelry, collaged boxes and created cloth dolls. I love trying and combining a variety of mediums, however, I always seem to return to fabric and beads.

As a career counselor, I encouraged people to follow their dreams; to "do what they love and the money would follow". In 1996, I took my own advice; quit my full time job to follow my own artistic dreams.

Commissions are welcomed. If you have an idea for a quilt that you'd like to have, please let me know.

Please contact me for more information.
